Pita J. Samayoa is a Multimedia Journalist covering social issues with a focus on Latino community. Since graduating from Arizona State University she has worked from mainstream television news to grassroots community radio stations in the valley. As a bilingual journalist Pita is a contributing writer for the Spanish publication MixedVoces and is currently working on an episodic web series about Dreamers and is co-producing a documentary about healthcare within the immigrant community in Phoenix, AZ.
