Bad Bunny appears to be teasing a new era in his career. On September 30, the Puerto Rican superstar debuted a new look that could be tied to his recent focus on acting.

One particular selfie in Bad Bunny’s Instagram stories yesterday had everyone taking notice. In the photo, the “Monaco” hit-maker has let his hair grow out and he is embracing his curls. Bad Bunny also dyed both his hair and newly-grown beard a ginger red color.

His new look might be due to his role in the upcoming movie Caught Stealing. Last week, Bad Bunny was spotted with his curls and beard filming in New York City with his co-stars Austin Butler and Regina King. From the way he’s feeling himself in his selfie, maybe it could be a look that he adopts after completing the movie.

Bad Bunny’s fans are hoping that he continues to embrace the new look. On X, one person wrote, “Bad Bunny always knows how to keep things fresh! Love his new look!”

In Spanish, another person wrote, “Redheaded Bad Bunny is my sexual fantasy.”

Other people on X are comparing Bad Bunny’s red hair to Ice Spice and his curls to painter Bob Ross.

In the Darren Aronofsky-directed film Caught Stealing, Bad Bunny will play the character named Colorado. And it seems like Bad Bunny is truly in his acting era as he was also recently cast in Adam Sandler’s Happy Gilmore sequel.

In more personal news, last month he reflected on the seventh anniversary of the Hurricane Maria disaster in Puerto Rico with his song “Una Velita.” Bad Bunny is also getting politically active by rallying against the island’s New Progressive Party in the upcoming gubernatorial election.
