Aleska Génesis Arrested After ‘La Casa de Los Famosos All Stars’ Elimination — Here’s What Happened

Telemundo
Venezuelan model and influencer Aleska Génesis was eliminated last night (March 10) from the fourth season of Telemundo’s hit reality series La Casa de los Famosos: All Stars. But what awaited her outside was a shocking surprise. She was arrested upon stepping out of the reality show’s house by agents of the Mexico City prosecutor’s office.
Génesis, who gained popularity by modeling for luxury brands and appearing in music videos by major Latin artists, was starting to become a major protagonist on the show. However, she ultimately became the fifth All-Star eliminated this season.
Her arrest was linked to her alleged involvement in the theft of luxury watches valued at approximately 10 million Mexican pesos, belonging to a business magnate in Mexico City. The alleged theft occurred in 2022 at his property, and she was also accused of attempting to sell the stolen watches in Miami.
In January 2024, before joining La Casa de los Famosos, where many fans got to know her, she was stopped at the Mexico City International Airport in connection with the case. After being detained, a Mexico City judge ruled there was not enough evidence, allowing her to participate in the popular Telemundo show. While in Mexico this year, Aleska had legal protection from arrest, but this was no longer valid once she was voted out of the house.

As a result, she was taken into custody and transferred to the Santa Martha Acatitla women’s prison, where she remains detained. As of now, she’s still in custody, and is awaiting her first court hearing.
