With 2018 easily being the year of Cardi B, it makes sense everyone wants to work with her. The Trini-Dominican rapper – who just dropped her debut album and announced her pregnancy on Saturday Night Live – is creating a collection for Fashion Nova, aka the most Googled brand in 2017. Fashion Nova, which offers stylish options to curvy and plus-size women, reached out to Cardi to partner on a collection.

“With Fashion Nova, they gave me the opportunity to design what I like and what I want to put out, and I’m gonna put out a line with them, a little something-something,” Cardi said in an interview with Beats 1 Radio.

Though there’s not too many details about the line – we don’t know exactly when it will launch, how many items it will include, or the price point – we can expect something very Cardi. “It’s gonna be crazy, because it’s what I like.”

This isn’t the first time Cardi collaborates with a fashion brand. Last year, she teamed up with Steve Madden for set of videos, where she gave us style advice. But if you follow the “Bodak Yellow” rapper, then you know she’s all about Fashion Nova. A few months ago, she explained that though she loves luxury brands, they don’t always fit her well. “Fashion Nova is one of like the only things that could really just, that fits my body,” she said. “These high-end designers, I love them, but none of [their] jeans fit these ass.”

Though Cardi has nothing but positive words for the brand, some have criticized the Los Angeles-based company for not giving plus-sized women – who form a sizable part of their customers – a bigger platform. Scroll down through its main Instagram page, and you won’t see many plus-size models. Instead, you’ll find them on a separate account, Fashion Nova Curve.
