Christian Nodal Responds to Cazzu’s Claims About His Relationship With Ángela Aguilar

After Cazzu broke her silence on Christian Nodal and Ángela Aguilar’s relationship, her ex is now speaking out. Last night (Oct. 31), Nodal spoke about his side of the story concerning the implications of infidelity.
Back in May, Nodal and Cazzu announced that they broke up less than a year after the birth of their child Inti. A few weeks later, Nodal and Aguilar then revealed that they were in a relationship. The following July, the two música mexicana singers got married in Mexico.
Yesterday, Cazzu responded to a recent interview in which Aguilar said that “everyone was on the same page” and nobody’s heart was broken. The Argentine singer revealed on the PLP podcast that she had reached her limits on staying quiet about the situation.
“At this moment, my integrity as a person was questioned,” Cazzu said. “It was recently said that I had known about the relationship of these two people for a long time, that they had been in a relationship for many months before it was exposed – and that I was fully aware [of it].” She refuted that claim and added that she found out about Nodal and Aguilar’s relationship on social media like everyone else.
A few hours later, Nodal responded to Cazzu’s claims while going live on Instagram. In talking about his breakup with Cazzu, he also continued to assert that he had not cheated on her with Aguilar.
“I informed [Cazzu],” Nodal said. “Not specifically that I was with Ángela or anything like that. We had already broken up, and I told her, ‘Hey Julieta, we should issue a statement because I’m going to start seeing someone publicly, and I don’t want things to get messy.’ And that’s how it all happened. My wife was never my lover. There was never a third person or even a conversation. It makes me very sad, angry, and uncomfortable to be in this position again, but it’s the reality. I was never unfaithful.”
During the nearly 30 minute conversation on Instagram, Christian Nodal also opened up about his relationship with his daughter Inti. He added that he hasn’t seen her as often as he wants to because he’s “working hard to build a future.” Nodal then brought the conversation back to his wife. “Ángela and I love each other,” he said. “We decided to get married. We wanted to be together.”
