One of the founding fathers of los corridos tumbados, Natanael Cano, is taking on a new role: fashion designer. On Tuesday, Cano’s new clothing line, Non Culpa, announced on Instagram the release date and pre-sale dates for its highly-anticipated capsule collection.

Editorial photos of the first drop were shown in a series of Instagram posts on the brand’s page. The first and only garment shown in detail is the “NATACAN T-SHIRT,” a gray-washed crewneck tee with a stitched cross in the front and a glowing cross emblem with “NATA CAN” emblazoned in the back.

A more recent post shares a montage of models wearing a long-sleeve Non Culpa tee, and Cano revving up a motorcycle and getting all the angles of the exclusive top. While no details on the long-sleeve garment have been released yet, the design plays a clear homage to the traditional streetwear motocross racing tees worn by pros and aficionados alike.

Cano’s interest in fashion runs in tandem with his pioneering success as a leader of the corridos tumbados movement, a genre that also comes with a distinctive streetwear aesthetic that fuses regional Mexican, hip hop and trap aesthetics.

Phil Management, who also partnered with Cano on the launch of Non Culpa released a brief manifesto on Instagram, stating “LA VIDA ES PARA LOS QUE VAMOS POR TODO, SIN BUSCAR APROBACIÓN, DEMOSTRAMOS LO QUE SOMOS, SIN VOLTEAR A VER AL DE A LADO, Y SIN ESCUCHAR LO QUE SE HABLE DE NOSOTROS.”

“AQUÍ SE HACE LO QUE SE TENGA QUE HACER, CON ALMA Y SIN CULPA.”

The Non Culpa capsule collection will include a series of hoodies, long sleeve tees, and accessories, and will be available for pre-sale November 1 and 2.
