Over the weekend, Cazzu and Christian Nodal announced the news that they’re becoming parents for the first time.

After Nodal’s highly-publicized breakup with Belinda in early 2022, he was spotted with Argentine singer and trap queen Cazzu. Later that year, the Mexican singer went public with his relationship with Cazzu, with them being spotted with another power couple, Rauw Alejandro and Rosalía in Japan. They even ended up moving in together. Now, Nodal and Cazzu are taking their relationship to the next level with a child.

During a concert at the Movistar Arena in Buenos Aires on Saturday night (April 15), Cazzu revealed that she is pregnant. It was during the beginning of a dramatic set where she was on an elevated platform and wearing a puffy white coat. Before she could really get into it, she dropped her coat, revealing a baby bump.

Not so surprisingly, the crowd lost it.

“Don’t you think I’m singing better?” Cazzu said during the moment. “It’s just that I feel that there are two of us singing now, like something is happening. I pee more often now, but hey.”

Cazzu also posted the moment of her pregnancy reveal on Instagram with many Latine stars commenting with their well wishes for the happy couple.

“Congratulations my love,” Brazilian singer Anitta wrote. “AHHHH hermanaaaa, I love you. Infinite blessings to you,” Argentine-Spanish artist Nathy Peluso wrote. Ivy Queen, Nicki Nicole, Ángela Aguilar, and Kany García also congratulated Cazzu.

During a concert in Aguascalientes, Mexico, Nodal also opened up about becoming a father. “I’m no longer a papacito,” he said with a big smile on his face. “Now I’m a father.” The crowd cheered wildly for Nodal’s good news.

Cazzu recently released a deluxe edition of her album Nena Trampa. The new version includes the songs “Brinca” with Young Miko and “Glock” with La Joaqui. Nodal’s most recent LP was AYAYAY!, which was released in 2020. Since then, he has dropped a few EPs.
