Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo have tapped into the universe of Las Perdidas. The stars of Wicked: For Good announced that Wendy Guevara, Paola Suárez, and Karina Torres will host a special event in Mexico in honor of the movie.
Guevara, Suárez, and Torres are influencers that hail from Mexico. As trans women, they have also pushed the envelope for acceptance of the LGBTQ+ community in Latin America through their many meme-able moments on social media. Guevara and Suárez became known as Las Perdidas thanks to a viral video from 2017 where they joked about being lost in the outskirts of León de los Aldama. They said that the men that they were with dropped them off in the middle of nowhere. Since then, Guevara and Suárez’s Las Perdidas clique has grown to include Torres.
Fans of the Mexican influencers were surprised to see Grande and Erivo name them directly in a new promotional video for Wicked: For Good. The actresses revealed that Guevara, Suárez, and Torres will host the Wicked Magical Costume Party in Mexico City on October 30.
“Everyone told us about you and your fabulous magical energy,” Erivo says. “That’s why we know you’re perfect for the job,” Grande adds. They capped off the announcement with a playful nod to the viral video that put Las Peridas on the map. Both Grande and Erivo even replicated Guevara and Suárez’s hilarious echoes of being lost.

The Wicked Magical Costume Party will precede the sequel opening in theaters on November 21. And Mexican actresses Danna and Ceci de la Cueva will once again voice the characters of Elphaba and Glinda in the Latin American dub of Wicked: For Good.
