Bad Bunny Makes ‘Hot Ones’ Debut & Gets Destroyed by This Hot Sauce

Bad Bunny took on the “Wings of Death” this week — and he was as hilarious as we thought he’d be. On January 23, the Puerto Rican icon was the first guest on the 26th season of First We Feast’s Hot Ones, the popular YouTube talk show hosted by Sean Evans.
At the beginning of the video, Benito says he already feels the spiciness just by smelling the wings.
During the conversation, he talks about the making behind “BAILE INoLVIDABLE” and “PIToRRO DE COCO,” the slang differences and similarities between New York and Puerto Rico, his WWE experience, and even his third-grade talent show performance – which he says he was so much more nervous about doing than headlining Coachella. He also appreciates the wings’ flavors, though he points out the spiciness and later says he’s worried about his colon.
In the last half of the interview, things take a turn. After cursing and asking where to put his tongue, he eventually gives up after the infamous Da’ Bomb Beyond Insanity. There were two hot sauces left. Although Bad Bunny doesn’t get through the “Wings of Death,” he gets through the rest of the interview and invites everyone to his island. However, before he leaves, he warns everyone in Spanish to not eat the spicy wings with a smile.
The boricua superstar is now the first Latine on this season. Will there be other Latines featured as the weeks go by? Another great Puerto Rican contestant could be Rauw Alejandro, who was Rosalía’s guest back when they were together — technically, he hasn’t taken on the fiery wings yet! Other Latine stars that have been featured on Hot Ones include Jenna Ortega, Cardi B, and Pedro Pascal.
