After a spectacular sophomore season, Drag Race México is coming to a close. The four finalists were tasked with one last challenge: a talent show. Following a lip-sync to a Shakira anthem, co-hosts Lolita Banana and Taiga Brava announced the winner of the competition.

The episode opened with Jenary Bloom, Horacio Potasio, Leexa Fox, and Eva Blunt reading Elektra Vandergeld’s farewell message. The most recently eliminated queen slipped #TeamLeexa into her message. When the four finalists returned to the Werk Room, they were greeted by the voice of Regina Voce, playing Walter Mercado. The former finalist did a playful astrology reading of the queens competing for the crown. Jenary Bloom, Horacio Potasio, Leexa Fox, and Eva Blunt later shared beautiful heart-to-heart moments with Lolita Banana and Taiga Brava.

For the first time in Drag Race México herstory, the final challenge was the talent show. Jenary Blunt performed an original reggaeton-fused song with plenty of pop star moves. She was followed by Horacio Potasio, who opened her set with stunning animation effects before performing interpretative dance. Eva Blunt performed lip-sync to a reggaeton track and showed off her whip skills. While dressed in the femme version of the Mexican charro outfit, Leexa Fox belted out the song “La Llorona,” which was popularized by Chavela Vargas.

The theme on the runway was Finale Glamour. Eva Blunt took the judges’ breath away with her gown, which had her makeup faces imprinted all over it. Jenary Blunt continued to serve pop star realness in a pink dress, while Horacio Potasio and Leexa Fox wore ravishing red looks. The nine eliminated queens also graced the runway one last time.

Following the talent show and runway, Lolita Banana and Taiga Brava revealed they needed to see one more thing from the queens. The finalists took turns lip-synching to Shakira and Bizarrap’s breakup banger “BZRP Music Sessions, Vol. 53.” All the queens poured their hearts into serving fierce moments during their performances. Last season’s winner, Cristian Peralta, returned to pass down the crown. After 12 weeks of competing, Leexa Fox emerged victorious and won the title of “Mexico’s Next Drag Superstar.” See you next time for season three.
