After one of the best lip-syncs of the season, the finalists for the season finale were revealed as the competition is coming down to the wire in episode 10 of Drag Race México!

This time around, the queens were tasked with putting fans of the franchise into drag and becoming mothers. Co-hosts Valentina and Lolita Banana were also joined on the judging panel by Óscar Madrazo and Puerto Rican actress Laura Carmine.

While walking into the Werk Room, Gala Varo revealed that she was happy to be in the final four with her “Estelares” sisters Cristian Peralta and Regina Voce. Matraka rounded out the fierce group. That’s when Lolita Banana and Valentina brought in four Drag Race fans from across Latin America for the big challenge of the episode.

The person from Venezuela was paired up with Gala Varo, Matraka teamed up with the Colombian fan, Cristian Peralta was paired with the Chilean person, and Regina Voce partnered with her compatriot from Mexico. Gala Varo, in a move to help their new daughters feel more comfortable in the competition, also led a tucking class where the queens bonded with their new drag daughters.

Later on, while getting ready for the challenge, Christian Peralta’s drag daughter Gaby Peralta revealed that she couldn’t shave her beard due to work reasons. Cristian and Gaby shared a sweet moment where they talked about how drag should be inclusive to everyone, including people who don’t fit a fully feminine aesthetic. They beautifully translated that message of acceptance over to the runway where Gaby shined like Austrian singer Conchita Wurst with her beard.

Gala Varo and her drag daughter Dalí Varo did the tradition of Venezuelan beauty pageants proud as a stunning pairing. Valentina joked that she would like to see Dalí Varo on season two of Drag Race México. Matraka created her and her partner Maraca’s beautiful velvet red gowns. The judges said they were thrown off a bit by the Colombian ponchos that honored Maraca’s roots.

And Regina Voce proudly represented Mexican beauty pageants with drag daughter Johanna Voce. Unfortunately, during the critiques, Valentina asked for Regina to elevate her drag style.

In the end, Cristian Peralta won her fifth Maxi Challenge. She was also announced as a finalist with Gala Varo. And subsequently, Matraka and Regina Voce lip-synched to “El Bombón Asesino” by Ninel Conde.
