On Drag Race México episode 6, the queens impersonated celebrities in the highly-anticipated Snatch Game challenge with the bottom two queens of the week giving the best Lipsync for Your Life of the season to a Gloria Trevi song. And co-hosts Valentina and Lolita Banana were joined on the judging panel by Óscar Madrazo and Mexican Broadway star Mauricio Martínez to make the final decision as to who would go home.

While walking into Werk Room, the 7 remaining queens talked about how competitive the competition has become with a smaller group. That was followed up by a video message to the contestants by Lolita Banana where she reminded them about the time when Brad Pitt confused her for Lady Gaga at the Babylon Paris premiere.

For this week’s mini-challenge, the queens had three minutes to put on makeup inspired by La Catrina, who is a famous Día de Muertos figure. They also had to do it without using a mirror and Regina Voce won the challenge.

For the Maxi Challenge this week, it was time for a Drag Race favorite: the Snatch Game! Cristian Peralta outshined the competition with her spot-on impression of Mexican icon Verónica Castro. Other standouts included Matraka’s comedic take on Mexican journalist Adela Micha and Lady Kero’s playful version of Colombian influencer Luna Gil. Argennis’ transformation into Gloria Trevi and Gala Varo’s interpretation of La Llorona didn’t make the judges laugh that much.

Following the challenge, Cristian Peralta told her castmates that she planned to propose to her girlfriend with whom she shares a daughter in a touching moment that emphasizes how much this competition means to the queens.

Over on the runway, the theme was Supernatural. Matraka stunned the judges with her colorful look inspired by the Mexican folklore creature alebrijes. Cristian Peralta and Lady Kero both pulled inspiration from La Llorona for their looks. And thanks to her top-tier impression of Verónica Castro, Peralta earned her third Maxi Challenge win.

After winning last week, Gala Varo was placed in the bottom two with Argennis, who found herself in that position for the third time in a row. Both queens pulled out all the dips and tricks while performing “Ábranse Perras” by Gloria Trevi. Following the incredible lip sync, unfortunately, Argennis was selected as the fifth queen to sashay away.

Both queens should be proud of turning out the best lip sync on Drag Race México so far.
