Jennifer Lopez is going back to her roots. Well, her non-musical roots. The Latina superstar is set to star in the “irreverent” romantic comedy Office Romance, opposite Ted Lasso star Brett Goldstein.

The movie is set to debut on Netflix.

Lopez’s last two movies for the streamer, The Mother and Atlas have not been rom-coms. But the star, whose first big acting role was in the movie Selena, where she played the titular role of the “Queen of Tejano Music” Selena Quintanilla Pérez, truly became a household name as an actress thanks to movies like The Wedding Planner and Maid in Manhattan.

And she didn’t abandon the genre then, either. Her most recent rom-coms include Shotgun Wedding and Marry Me. But Lopez’s return to the genre on a big streamer like Netflix, which has had a lot of success with rom-coms, still has many fans excited.

Opposite her will be Ted Lasso star Brett Goldstein, who won two Emmys for his portrayal of Roy Kent in the sports comedy. Goldstein, who started on Ted Lasso as a writer, is  also one of the writers of the romantic comedy, alongside Joe Kelly.

Goldstein recently headlined his first standup comedy tour, The Second Best Night Of Your Life. Lopez, meanwhile, had her most recent movie, the sports drama Unstoppable, premiere are the Toronto Film Festival.

In August, Lopez filed for divorce from her husband of two years, Ben Affleck, citing irreconcilable differences. The two were seen having brunch together on Saturday, September 14th alongside their kids but sources indicated to People the two are still moving forward with the divorce.
