WATCH: Rachel Zegler Stars as ‘Snow White’ in Live-Action Official Trailer

The highly-anticipated live-action remake of Snow White finally has an official trailer. The trailer features Rachel Zegler as the titular character, Gal Gadot as the Evil Queen, and the story’s iconic seven dwarfs.
“A dream come true. ❤️ See you at the movies on March 21st! #SnowWhite,” the Colombian-American actress wrote online.
The new trailer previews Zegler’s Snow White telling Gadot’s Evil Queen that the people need kindness. It also shows a snippet of the Evil Queen’s famous “Magic mirror on the wall, who is the fairest of them all?” Other frames show Snow White being warned about the Evil Queen and told how she needs to flee into the woods. The next part of the trailer demonstrates Snow White exploring the forest and encountering the dwarves’ home. It also shows how the dwarves discover her sleeping on their beds.
The trailer includes Zegler’s stunning vocals as she sings the film’s iconic “Waiting on a Wish.” More snippets show her dancing with the dwarfs, standing up for her kingdom, and being given the poisonous red apple by the transformed Evil Queen.
Disney’s new live-action adaptation of Snow White has turned heads since it was revealed.
In 2022, Zegler was a trending topic on X due to social media users disagreeing with the famous character being portrayed by a Latina actress. Since then, Zegler has been getting support from actresses such as Brandy, who told her via an interview that she’s doing the role for “every little Colombian girl who has yet to see themselves in a role like a Disney princess.”
Zegler also faced backlash for comments she made during the D23 Expo. At that time she spoke about how the original had “a big focus on her love story with a guy who literally stalks her.” Instead, her Snow White isn’t “about the love story at all, which is really, really wonderful.” Conservatives hit back and called it a “woke agenda.”
