Bad Bunny and entrepreneur David Grutman celebrated the grand opening of their Japanese steakhouse and sushi restaurant Gekkō in Miami on Thursday (August 11). The restaurant is located in the booming Brickell neighborhood.

The international superstar arrived at the event in a white Bugatti and wore an all-black suit and black sunglasses. He was met by fans cheering for him as he made his way into the establishment. “Benito! Benito!” they yelled.

Several celebrities joined Bad Bunny and Grutman for the party, including Karol G, Jhayco, Future, Joe Jonas, Sophie Turner, David and Victoria Beckham, Derek Jeter, DJ Khaled, Jake Paul, Lil Wayne, and Oscar nominee Andy Garcia. Zack Bia took over the turntables and provided the music for guests to dance to.

According to the Miami Herald, Gekkō can seat 185 guests and was designed by the New York-based Rockwell group. It offers indoor and outdoor seating.

“Gekkō is the result of so many of my obsessions in food,” Grutman said in a statement. “I knew I wanted to do something that combined these worlds, and once I started speaking with Bunny, I knew he’d be a great partner.”

The menu includes high-end wagyu beef cuts, several sushi rolls, and other Japanese cuisines like Japanese milk bread and Kumamoto oysters. The main attractions for entrees include the restaurant’s Tomahawk steak and filet mignon.

“Satisfy your craving,” a post from Gekkō reads on social media.

Sounds like a great night out.
