My Life With the Walter Boys is one of Netflix’s newest YA hits. The show follows Jackie Howard, played by Nikki Rodriguez, who after losing her family to a terrible accident, has to move to rural Colorado and ends up in a love triangle with two brothers, Cole and Alex Walter. It accumulated 7 million views in its first weekend and another 12.8 million in its first week.

The show’s continued popularity has led people to look for other shows with the same vibes, especially as they wait for season 2. So here are ten other shows to watch if you enjoyed My Life With the Walter Boys that also feature YA romance, friendship, and of course, a little bit of teenage drama.

Heartstopper is a high school show following two British schoolboys, Charlie Spring and Nick Nelson, in the fictional Truham Grammar School created by Alice Oseman. They have to contend with the normal high school drama, along with the issues of coming out and starting a new relationship.

On My Block is a coming-of-age story focusing on a group of friends in South Central Los Angeles. But these teens have more than high school problems to deal with, as one of the main storylines involves one of them being in a gang. YA drama at its finest, The Summer I Turned Pretty, is about as close to My Life With the Walter Boys as possible. It involves a girl in a love triangle with two brothers, all taking place during one so-called perfect summer.

Set in the world of the film Love, Simon, the series Love, Victor follows a new student at Creekwood High on his journey of self-discovery, which includes adjusting to a new city and exploring his sexual orientation.

Never Have I Ever follows Devi, an Indian-American high school student dealing with the sudden death of her father, all while going through high school and trying to figure out which boy to pick – because yes, there is a love triangle.

The Fosters

The Fosters follows a couple, Stef and Lena, who struggle to raise a family comprised of both foster, adopted, and biological kids. In the end, they’re all family. The series spanned one spinoff, titled Good Trouble.

XO, Kitty

A spinoff from the To All the Boys I Loved Before movies, XO Kitty follows Kitty Song Covey as she reunites with her long-distance boyfriend at the same boarding school attended by her late mother.

Saved by the Bell

The Saved by the Bell revival sees students forced to transfer from their low-income high school to Bayside High after Governor Zack Morris (yes, that Zack Morris) closes their school due to budget cuts. That means the rich kids and the poor kids are now hanging out.

Rebelde

Rebelde follows a new group of students at the Elite Way School, an elite Mexican music school. There’s drama, friendships, rivalries, and of course, a new music group looking to follow in the footsteps of the original.
