Meet the Latina Queens Competiting in ‘Drag Race México: Latina Royale’

Latina drag queens from across the RuPaul’s Drag Race franchise are coming together for a special competition in Drag Race Mexico: Latina Royale

Drag Race México: Latina Royale is the first spin-off of the successful Mexican franchise. The first two seasons of Drag Race México have seen Cristian Peralta and Leexa Fox take the crown. Now there’s 11 queens from Drag Race México, RuPaul’s Drag Race, Drag Race Germany, Drag Race Brasil, Drag Race España, and Drag Race Holland competing for the title of “Latin Drag Superstar of the World” in the Latina Royale spin-off.

And who’s hosting? Lolita Banana and Taiga Brava are returning to host the competition!


Alexis Mateo

The iconic veteran on the cast is Alexis Mateo. The Puerto Rican queen first competed on season three of RuPaul’s Drag Race in 2011. She has since returned for season one and five of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars and season two of Canada’s Drag Race: Canada vs. the World.


Barbie Q

Barbie Q is a Bolivian drag queen that originally competed on the first season of Drag Race Germany in 2023. She was the Porkchop, or the first queen to be eliminated, that season.


DesiRée Beck 

DesiRée Beck comes from season two of Drag Race Brasil. The Brazilian drag queen came in seventh place that season.


Elektra Vandergeld 

Elektra Vandergeld was a fan favorite on the second season of Drag Race México. The fashion queen of the season came in fifth place.


Eva Blunt

Eva Blunt also comes from season two of Drag Race México. She was one of the runners-up that season. 


Horacio Potasio

Horacio Potasio was a finalist on the second season of Drag Race México. Her drag mother is Gala Varo, who competed on the first season of Drag Race México and RuPaul’s Drag Race Global All Stars.


Mariana Stars

Mariana Stars was an explosive presence on season four of Drag Race España. The Venezuelan drag queen came in fifth place that season.


Miss Abby OMG 

Miss Abby OMG comes from the first season of Drag Race Holland. The Brazilian drag queen came in third place that season.


Regina Voce

Regina Voce was a finalist on the first season of Drag Race México. Prior to that, she also competed on the drag singing competition Queen of the Universe


Xunami Muse

Xumani Muse was one of two drag queens that were the first DACA recipients to compete on RuPaul’s Drag Race in 2024. The Panamanian performer was voted Miss Congeniality alongside Sapphira Cristál on season sixteen. 

Drag Race México: Latina Royale will start streaming on WOW Presents Plus on July 30.
