The day has arrived: notorious Latin trap star Anuel AA has officially been released from prison after his infamous arrest in 2016, when police found three guns, a dozen clips, and 152 rounds of ammunition in his car. Edwin Prado, Anuel AA’s attorney, confirmed the news to Metro.PR.

The first photos and video of Anuel since his release have finally hit the Internet. In a newly surfaced clip, the Puerto Rican rapper looks through the physical copy of his just-dropped album Real Hasta La Muerte with fellow Boricua artist Casper Magico, joking about the dedication he included in the liner notes of the CD. “Viste huelebicho?” he says in the video.

Anuel was also spotted taking a few photos with fans on Instagram. His manager Frabian Eli was also pictured in the photos. Anuel is currently located in Miami, where he was incarcerated in a federal detention center until his release this morning.

The Puerto Rican rapper is expected to speak to the press tomorrow morning for the first time since his incarceration. According to Metro.PR, Anuel is currently on probation. He recorded his brand new album Real Hasta La Muerte while serving his sentence in a halfway house earlier this spring.
