Are Romeo Santos & Prince Royce Collaborating on His Upcoming Album ‘Better Late Than Never’?

Two of the biggest stars in bachata music are joining forces. This morning (Nov. 24), Romeo Santos teased a collaboration with Prince Royce on his upcoming album Better Late Than Never.
After releasing his last album, 2022’s Formula, Vol. 3, Santos focused on his reunion tour with Aventura. The last show of the “Cerrando Ciclos Tour” took place earlier this year on Jan. 5 in the Dominican Republic. For much of the rest of 2025, Santos largely enjoyed time with his family away from the spotlight. On Halloween, the King of Bachata revealed that he will release a new album on Nov. 28 while dressed as the Jim Carrey character Ace Ventura.
Now, Santos has disclosed more details about his upcoming album. The title of the LP is Better Late Than Never. In the teaser video posted on Instagram, he also revealed that the album will include a long-awaited collaboration with Prince Royce. Despite being two of the top artists in bachata, Santos and Prince Royce had never collaborated on a song together. On the teaser, we hear Daniel Habif’s voice talking about how monumental this moment is.
“Dear loved ones, this is something that you thought would never happen,” Habif says in Spanish. “It was just under the surface waiting for its moment. The wait is a secret of God to surprise us. Because of that, the biggest revelations never happen in a hurry. Knowledge, art, the decisions that transcend need time to become substantive. What seemed to be impossible is happening. Better late than never.”
The video then shows Santos with Prince Royce on a boat in the Dominican Republic. What appears to be the title track of the Better Late Than Never album starts playing. Santos can be heard singing in Spanish while Prince Royce harmonizes with him in English.
The announcement comes on the heels of Santos appearing as a special guest during night two of Bad Bunny’s Debí Tirar Más Fotos World Tour in Santo Domingo.
