Carlos Rivera Announces Dates for 2025 Carlos XX U.S. Tour

Carlos Rivera will celebrate the 20th anniversary of his music career next year in the U.S. Today (Nov. 8), the Mexican pop star announced the dates for his 2025 Carlos XX U.S. Tour. 

Rivera first rose to prominence after winning the reality competition La Academia in 2004. Since then, he has become one of Mexico’s leading male pop stars. He is known for his romantic love songs like “Solo Tú,” “Me Muero,” and “Que Lo Nuestro Se Quede Nuestro.” He has also blended pop with genres like reggaeton in “Perdiendo La Cabeza” with Becky G, mariachi in “100 Años” with Maluma, and bachata in “Calumnia” featuring Prince Royce. Rivera also sang the song “Recuérdame” for the Disney movie Coco. Now, he will celebrate 20 years of his win on La Academia with the Carlos XX Tour.

The U.S. leg of the tour will kick off in El Paso, TX, on Feb. 27. After visiting Dallas and Houston, Rivera will next take the tour to Chicago, IL, on March 6. Throughout that month, he will also perform in concerts in major cities like New York, NY, Miami, FL, and San Jose, CA. The U.S. portion of the tour will wrap on March 14 in Los Angeles, CA, at the Peacock Theater. 

Pre-sale tickets for the Carlos XX Tour will go on-sale on Thursday, Nov. 21 at 10 a.m. local time. Tickets to the general public will be available the following day, Nov. 22, at 10 a.m. local time. Rivera recently received the first Latin Grammy nomination of his career. He is currently nominated for Best Pop Song for “Ahora” with Spanish singer David Bisbal. Both artists are scheduled to perform at the 2024 Latin Grammy Awards, which will air on Univision on Nov. 14.
