Gabito Ballesteros is finally going on tour! On April 4, Live Nation announced the rising música mexicana star’s first-ever The GB Tour. The highly-anticipated tour will start at The Magnolia in San Diego, CA, on June 7 and wrap up at the San Jose Civic in San Jose, CA, on Sep. 28.
Produced by Live Nation, the 13-date tour will take the “LADY GAGA” singer and his 31-musician banda to perform in popular venues in California, Nevada, Texas, Arizona, and more. After starting in San Diego, the tour will continue to The Chelsea at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas in Las Vegas, NV (June 8); The Pavilion at Toyota Music Factory in Irving, TX (June 14); the 713 Music Hall in Houston, TX (June 15); the Murat Theatre @ Old National Centre in Indianapolis, IN (June 21); and the Rosemont Theatre in Rosemont, IL (June 22).
He will then perform at the Coca-Cola Roxy in Atlanta, GA (July 5); the Abraham Chavez Theater in El Paso, TX (July 12); the Arizona Financial Theatre in Phoenix, AZ (July 13); the William Saroyan Theatre in Fresno, CA (Sep. 20); and the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, CA (Sep. 21). The last two shows will be in California, at the Sacramento Memorial Auditorium in Sacramento (Sep. 27) and at the San Jose Civic in San Jose (Sep. 28).
Ballesteros is known as one of the emerging artists in the corridos tumbados scene who innovates traditional música mexicana sounds through their music. His popular tracks include “LOU LOU” with frequent collaborator Natanael Cano and “AMG” with Cano, Peso Pluma, and Junior H. Recently, he released his newest joint track with Cano called “El Boss” and a cover of Joan Sebastian’s “Un Idiota.”
