Do Bad Bunny and Kanye West have a collaboration in the works? On Dec. 12, a video featuring what sounds like Bad Bunny’s vocals surfaced on the internet, making fans wonder if he’s featured on West and Ty Dolla $ign’s upcoming joint album. The duo’s Vultures album is expected to drop on Friday (Dec. 15).
The new videos were recorded last night (Dec. 11) during Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign’s outdoor rave and livestream in Miami, FL. Though we don’t hear Bad Bunny’s verse, the rap track snippet features the Puerto Rican icon’s recognizable ad-libs. Notably, the track also features Kodak Black rapping sparse words in Spanish. In an interview from 2022, Black confirmed a collaboration with Benito, teasing rapping in Spanish.
In another clip, we hear what could be Benito singing: “I’m so drunk right now.” Notably, the joint album has a song titled “Drunk.”
The collaboration with West wouldn’t be too far-fetched since the American rapper said he’d want to work with El Conejo Malo. In a previous interview, he said that you must go to the No. 1 artist when putting out an album. When asked who it was now, he says Bad Bunny, who he refers to as “a stadium artist.” He also mentions that he’s his competition without beef.
Social media users are commenting on the potentially surprise collaboration. An X user wrote: “They are telling me that bad bunny is going to appear on kanye west’s new album nothing surprises me anymore.”
Other social media users are excited about what’s potentially to come on Friday. An X user commented: “We are about to witness a collaboration between Kanye West and Bad Bunny. THIS SOUNDS GOOD.” Another X user said: “The fact that Bad Bunny has already collaborated with The Weeknd, Travis Scott and Drake and is going to be on Kanye West’s album is the confirmation (were there any doubts?) that he is the absolute king of music in our language WORLDWIDE. What’s left for him to do? Get married in the Vatican?”
Besides the Bad Bunny and Black speculations, the confirmed features on the upcoming Vultures album include Freddie Gibbs, Playboi Carti, Nicki Minaj, James Blake, and West’s daughter North.
