As the most nominated Latine artist at the 2026 Grammy Awards, is there a chance Bad Bunny is performing? Given that the Puerto Rican superstar is set to headline the Super Bowl halftime show a week later, speculation is rampant. An executive producer for the Grammys recently opened up about what to expect from Bad Bunny at Music’s Biggest Night.
Benito is making history with his nominations at this year’s Grammys. He is the first Spanish-language artist to be nominated in three of the biggest categories on the same night. Among his six total nominations, Bad Bunny is up for Song of the Year and Record of the Year for “DtMF.” His LP DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS is also nominated for Album of the Year. If he wins in that category, it will mark the first time that a Spanish-language album claims the Album of the Year prize.
In an interview with Hits Daily Double, Ben Winston, an executive producer for the Grammys, confirmed that Bad Bunny will be in attendance. “He’s definitely coming to the Grammys,” Winston said. “He’s really looking forward to it and he could make history, which is amazing.”
With Bad Bunny preparing to put on a historic halftime show at Super Bowl LX, he added that the mega star won’t be performing at the 2026 Grammy Awards. “I can’t wait to watch his Super Bowl performance,” Winston said. “I respect that in a way, because if the Super Bowl was the week before the Grammys, I’m not sure I would want the same performer on our show a week later.”
Though Bad Bunny will not perform at the 2026 Grammy Awards, there will be Latine acts performing that night. The Marías and KATSEYE, which includes Latina member Daniela, will perform during the ceremony as part of a Best New Artist nominees showcase. The 2026 Grammys will air live on CBS on Sunday, Feb. 1.
