One of Mexico’s most legendary singers is going on a farewell tour in the States. This afternoon (Apr. 29), José María Napoleón revealed the dates for his “Tour de Despedida USA 2025.”

Napoleón has an illustrious career that spans 50 years as a singer, songwriter, and performer. The Aguascalientes-based artist is best known for his beloved love songs in the pop en español world. Among his biggest hits are the classics like “Eres,” “Vive,” and “Pajarillo.” Last year, the 76-year-old icon embarked on a successful farewell tour of Mexico. Now, his fans in the U.S. will have a chance to see him one last time for his “Tour de Despedida USA 2025.”

The Tour de Despedida USA 2025 will visit eight major cities, kicking off on Oct. 23 in San Jose, CA. Throughout that month, he will also visit Inglewood, CA (Oct. 26), and Houston, TX (Oct. 30). From there, Napoleón’s next stop will be Hidalgo, TX on Nov. 1. He will also perform concerts in Rosemont, IL (Nov. 6), Irving, TX (Nov. 8), and Phoenix, AZ (Nov. 13). The tour will wrap in San Diego, CA on Nov. 15.

In 2023, Napoleón released the last album of his career, Hasta Siempre (Con Mariachi). The LP includes mariachi versions of his biggest hits like “Eres,” “Vives,” and “Pajarillo.” The year prior, Mexican pop star Carlos Rivera tapped Napoleón for his Leyendas album. They recorded a new duet version of “Vives” for the album, which also featured Latine legends like Gloria Estefan, Omara Portuondo, and Juan Gabriel.
