Eslabon Armado’s new album includes a collaboration with a viral sensation. Mexican singer Macario Martínez is featured on the song “Esa Noche” from the group’s Vibras De Noche II album, which came out today (March 14).
Vibras De Noche II marks Eslabon Armado’s first album after breaking away from their long-time label, Del Records. It was released via the Mexican-American group’s own Armado Records in partnership with Interscope. The LP is also the sequel to Eslabon Armado’s blockbuster album Vibras De Noche, which came out in 2020. The only featured artist this time around is the “sueña lindo, corazón” singer.
Back in late January, Martínez, who hails from Mexico City, went viral on TikTok. “Life asks for a lot and I’m just a street sweeper who wants you to listen to his music,” he wrote in the caption of his heartfelt post. The video showed Martínez riding on the back of the city vehicle in his work uniform as his song “sueña lindo, corazón” played in the background. As of press time, his breakthrough hit now has over 13 million streams on Spotify. In one of his first major releases since that moment, Martínez has joined forces with Eslabon Armado.
“Esa Noche” is the sole collaboration on Vibras De Noche II. Eslabon Armado once again taps into their emo sierreño sound in the heartbreaking song. Lead singer Pedro Tovar and Martínez commiserate about remembering the last night spent with their lovers before breaking up. “I didn’t want you to leave my side and now it’s just a memory,” they sing in Spanish together. Hopefully, this música mexicana gem with an alternative edge gets released as a single from the album in the future.

Vibras De Noche II was released with the music video for “Otras 24 Horas.” Eslabon Armado recently kicked off their U.S. Vibras De Noche Tour.
