Rauw Alejandro has released his soundtrack of the summer. Today (July 7), the Puerto Rican superstar dropped his new album Playa Saturno with features from artists like Ivy Queen, Junior H, and Miguel Bosé.

This past year, Rauw Alejandro performed in sold-out concerts across the U.S. and Mexico on his Saturno World Tour. Being away from home while on tour inspired him to make Playa Saturno. Whereas Saturno saw Rauw experimenting with other genres, he goes back to his reggaeton roots in this spin-off album.

“While I was touring, I couldn’t stop thinking about summer, the season that holds many of my memories and adventures near the beach in Puerto Rico, where music always accompanied me in all these experiences,” he wrote on Instagram. “Being away from home really is like living on Saturn. I was filled with nostalgia and in no time, I don’t know how I made it real. I decided to make this ALBUM for all the fans of CLASSIC AND MODERN REGGAETON, especially for my people in PR.”

One of the most-anticipated collaborations on the album was “Picardía” with Mexican singer Junior H. Despite the expectations for a corrido tumbado, it’s actually a psychedelic reggaeton song. Junior H surprisingly finds his groove in the dembow beat while singing about a girl who wants to perrear all night long. Alongside Rauw Alejandro, Junior H proves his sad boy flow sounds great in any genre.

Miguel Bosé joins Rauw Alejandro in the freaky perreo banger “Si Te Pegas.” The Spanish pop star sings about getting high off alcohol and pills. In a throwback moment on the album, Ivy Queen appears on “Celebrando,” which boasts classic reggaeton beats. She reigns supreme as queen of the club while getting the party started with Rauw.

Other features on the album include Jowell y Randy on “Ponte Nasty” and Ñejo y Dálmata on “No Me La Molestes.” Rauw Alejandro also included his recent hit single “Baby Hello” with Argentine producer Bizarrap.
