RBD has released its first taste of new music since reuniting earlier this year. Today (Feb. 24), the Mexican pop group released an updated version of their song “Siempre He Estado Aquí,” which now includes vocals from Dulce María.

In 2020, RBD briefly reunited with members Anahí, Christian Chávez, Christopher von Uckermann, and Maite Perroni. Dulce María, who was pregnant at the time, and Alfonso “Poncho” Herrera decided not to rejoin the band at the time. The four members released the single, “Siempre He Estado Aquí,” RBD’s first single since the band split in 2009. They also performed it during the group’s live-stream concert.

Now that RBD has reunited with Dulce María in the mix, they have released “Siempre He Estado Aquí” as “S.H.E.A.” Hearing Dulce María’s vocals in the mix with her bandmates again makes this feel more like a RBD song. Their five voices soar as they thank their fans for sticking by RBD this whole time. The love song sounds even sweeter with Dulce María rounding out the RBD line-up.

“This means the world to me!!” Dulce María wrote on Twitter about being included in “S.H.E.A.” “From the bottom of my heart I HAVE ALWAYS BEEN HERE. Thank you for making me part of this special song for you and the whole Rebelde generation.”

Anahí responded to Dulce María’s tweet with a sweet message. “Now it’s complete,” she wrote with teary-eyed and heart emojis.

RBD will be touring the U.S., Brazil, and Mexico this summer with the Soy Rebelde Tour. Due to popular demand and some persuasion from Karol G, the tour was extended to include Colombia. RBD has already sold-out two concerts at the Atanasio Girardot Stadium in Medellín with a third show added. Alfonso “Poncho” Herrera decided to sit out this RBD reunion.
