It’s no secret that Peso Pluma collaborations are in hot demand right now. From Karol G to Ryan Castro, the Mexican rapper appears to be booked and busy and swirled with collaboration rumors. The latest artist showing interest? None other than Belinda.

Could a collaboration between the two Mexican artists be coming sooner than later? In a recent interview with Hoy, when asked if the pop star and actress would be interested in collaborating with the “Ella Baila Sola” singer, she said: “I would love to! I’m in contact with him, he’s a super artist, and of course, I hope something happens very soon.”

However, the potential collaboration’s timeline is unclear though. During the same interview, Belinda talked about her upcoming plans. She mentioned that she was going to Thailand for a few days, then revealed she would take a month off in Spain. “I want to be with my family in Spain. I haven’t seen them for a long time. I miss them,” she told the media outlet. “I want to be at my grandmother’s house, which obviously are also important moments for me where I get back to myself, and I want to enjoy life a little bit.”

Though it’s not confirmed when the two superstars started their communication, the duo started following each other on social media back in May

Regardless of when the potential joint track may or may not surface, social media users are already buzzing about it. A Twitter user wrote: “Belinda saying she is in contact with Peso Pluma I want the collaboration already I want to see her bien Belica😎❤️.”

It wouldn’t be Belinda’s first collaboration in the regional Mexican scene. Previously, she’s worked with Christian Nodal. As far as Peso goes, it appears that he’s open to singing on top of multiple genres. He’s recently released a dembow corrido with El Alfa and a norteño cumbia with Grupo Frontera.
