One of the headliners for the 2025 Sueños music festival has been announced. Mexican superstar Peso Pluma will hit the stage at the concert in Chicago, IL.

Sueños launched in 2022 as the windy city’s first major Latine music festival. Remezcla was on the ground for this year’s edition of the festival, which featured headliners Rauw Alejandro, Maluma, and Peso Pluma. Unfortunately, during that Memorial Day weekend, the Chicago area was hit by thunderstorms. Even though Peso landed in Chicago for his set on Sunday night, the festival was canceled due to the severe weather. “I hope that I can give you guys a good show when they allow me to,” he said at the time.

Last month, the team behind Sueños announced that the festival will return to Grant Park next year. The event will once again take place over Memorial Day weekend, which will be on May 24 to 25. For those Peso Pluma fans who could not see him this year, the música mexicana star will return as a headliner. This is the “Lady Gaga” hit-maker’s first confirmed concert in 2025. He wrapped up his Éxodo Tour earlier than planned on Oct. 13 in Greensboro, NC. The final two concerts in Tampa and Miami, FL, were canceled due to Hurricane Milton.

Pre-sale passes for next year’s Sueños music festival will go on sale on Thursday, Nov. 14, at 12 p.m. CST. For more information, you can check out the event’s official website here.

Peso Pluma will next perform at the MTV Europe Music Awards in Manchester on Nov. 10. He is nominated for two awards this year, including Best Latin and Best Collaboration for “Bellakeo” featuring Anitta. Though last year’s ceremony was canceled due to the ongoing Israel-Palestine conflict, Peso Pluma won his first MTV EMA for Best New Act.
