Raphy Pina was released from prison earlier than planned. Today (May 13), the CEO of Pina Records and Natti Natasha’s partner revealed that he is now serving out the rest of his sentence in another location.

In December 2021, Pina was found guilty of two charges of illegal possession of firearms. The following May, he was sentenced to three years behind bars. On May 24, 2022, Pina surrendered himself to the custody of U.S. Marshalls. He served most of his sentence in a federal prison in North Carolina. Last week, Pina appeared to hint that his release date would be on May 24, 2024, exactly two years after being detained. The post on Instagram showed a painting of a lion walking out of a prison.

This morning, Pina revealed in his Instagram stories that he was out of prison. However, he isn’t fully free just yet. He added that he was moved to a “halfway house” in Miami, FL, to serve the rest of his sentence. “I’m in a less ‘rigorous’ process called halfway houses,” he wrote. “This is the last step to freedom.”

In his posts, he also revealed the location where he was transferred. His release papers from prison list his location as the RMM (Residential Reentry Management) Miami. According to the organization’s website, RMM Miami is an administrative office “responsible for making inmate halfway house placement determinations and supervising these residential reentry centers.” The RMM Miami most likely placed Pina in a halfway house where he will live until he completes the rest of his sentence.

According to the Federal Bureau of Prisons (FBOP), Pina will actually complete his sentence on Aug. 5, 2024. Over the weekend, he celebrated Mother’s Day by posting photos of Natti Natasha and their daughter Vida Isabelle on Instagram.
