There’s a new development in the alleged money fraud case regarding RBD’s comeback tour. Amidst the latest findings of an investigation released today (May 22), Anahí appears to be siding with her bandmates.

Earlier this year, RBD revealed they had severed ties with Guillermo Rosas, who managed their comeback tour, and his company T6H Entertainment. Reports emerged that the Mexican pop group parted ways with Rosas after an audit revealed there was money missing from the tour’s earnings.

T6H Entertainment later issued a press release that denied fraud or any wrongdoing by either Rosas or his company. The statement added that an initial audit by Citrin Cooperman accounting concluded no money mishaps under T6H Entertainment. The company also noted that it handled less than 10 percent of the tour’s total revenue, with Souls Productions Inc. handling more than 90 percent of the tour’s income.

Initially, Anahí appeared to take the side of her close friend Rosas amidst the investigation. On X this afternoon, she reposted RBD’s joint statement through Souls Productions Inc. The latest findings claim that the audit by Citrin Cooperman accounting found T6H Entertainment received $1 million from touring earnings that was unaccounted for.

“It is crucial to clarify that the only entities responsible for the tour payments were TH6 in the initial stage and later Citrin Cooperman, who served as a business manager of the tour,” the statement read. “None of the group members had access to manage the money or make payments.”

The members of RBD revealed that the group’s activities are currently “on hold” as investigation develops. The statement also revealed that RBD is working with the Singh, Singh, & Trauben, LPP law firm for “all parties to reach a resolution.”

Last month, RBD’s Christian Chávez told Remezcla that the band were planning to release a live album of their concert from Brazil and a documentary. Those plans are presumably on pause for now.
