Tini is taking her music to the next level with Steve Aoki. The Argentine pop star teamed up with the world-famous DJ and La Joaqui for her “Muñecas” music video, released last night (Jan. 12).
“Muñecas” is the next single from Tini’s upcoming album. She teamed up with La Joaqui, another female artist on the rise in Argentina. Their alluring club banger was produced by Aoki, who is also credited as a featured act, and gave the cumbia-pop sound that Tini is known for an electronic makeover. Tini and La Joaqui sing about living their best lives on the dance floor. Tini’s song doubles as a fierce club banger and a girl power anthem.
In the music video, Tini brings the “Muñecas” fantasy to life. Tini and La Joaqui are living large inside a lavish dollhouse. The two women look like goddesses in stunning outfits. Aoki also appears briefly in Tini’s extravagant video.
Tini had a breakthrough year in 2022. She continued to ride high off her global hit “Miénteme” with fellow Argentine singer María Becerra. Tini later scored a smash hit of her own with the cumbia-infused anthem “La Triple T.” Last Sept., she performed in the U.S. at the Billboard Latin Awards. Tini belted out her heartbreaking ballad “Carne y Hueso.”
She recently announced that she will release her fourth studio album in Feb. All the aforementioned hits will be included on the LP. The album will also feature Tini’s other hits like “La Lotto” with Becky G and Anitta, “Bar” with L-Gante, and “El último Beso” with Tiago PZK. Her Manuel Turizo collaboration “Maldita Foto” and “Fantasi” with Beéle will also be on the tracklist.
Last month, Tini made headlines when she shared the stage with her boyfriend, Argentine soccer player Rodrigo De Paul. During her concert in Buenos Aires, the World Cup winner came out as a special guest.
