The 2024 Ladyland Festival is extending this year to two days, June 28 and 29. The festival highlights artists, creatives, and performers in the LGBTQ+ community. The first day will be headlined by German pop star Kim Petras. Last year, she became the first trans woman to win the Pop Duo/Group Performance Grammy for “Unholy” with Sam Smith. The top-billed Latina that day is Dominican-American drag queen Kandy Muse. She is known for her run on RuPaul’s Drag Race. The line-up is rounded out by Horsegiirl, Slayyyter, Aliyah’s Interlude, Baby Tate, DJ Guapis, Jon Ali, and Countess Luann from The Real Housewives of New York City

On Saturday, June 29, Venezuelan producer and DJ Arca is co-headlining with Dominican star Tokischa. As a trans and non-binary artist, Arca is breaking down barriers for the LGBTQ+ community in the EDM space. Tokischa, who is bisexual, is known for helping globalize the sound of Dominican dembow. Venezuelan singer MJ Nebreda will also be playing this day. As far as non-Latine talent goes, Bob the Drag Queen, the winner of season eight of RuPaul’s Drag Race, and Sevdaliza will perform DJ sets that day. Dominican-American DJ Sterling Juan Diaz will also be spinning tracks. Cakes Da Killa, Derrick Carter, and Doss Lucky Love are also performing.

The LadyLand Festival will take place under the K Bridge in Brooklyn, NY. The event’s official website is now open for pre-sale registration through Thursday, April 18, at 9 a.m. EST. Pre-sale tickets will be available that same day at 10 a.m. EST. Tickets for the general public will go on sale on Friday, April 19, at 10 a.m EST. The festival takes place during LGBTQ+ Pride weekend in New York City.
