WATCH: Kali Uchis & Peso Pluma Perform ‘Igual Que Un Ángel’ for the First Time

Kali Uchis kicked off her pair of concerts in Los Angeles, CA, in a big way. Last night (Aug. 21), the Colombian-American star brought out Peso Pluma as a special guest, and they performed “Igual Que Un Ángel” for the first time.
Kali’s The Sincerely, Tour launched earlier this month on Aug. 14 in Portland, OR. Due to the high demand to see her live in L.A., she is doing two concerts at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, CA. The first of the back-to-back shows took place last night. The “Telepatía” singer made the night extra special by bringing out Mexican singer Peso Pluma, who has largely laid low this past year.
One of the biggest songs from Kali Uchis’ Orquídeas album last year was “Igual Que Un Ángel.” The dreamy pop banger marked a dramatic shift for Peso Pluma, who is most known for his Mexican corridos. Kali fans at the Kia Forum were treated to the first-ever live performance of the collaboration. Peso Pluma was dressed in all black, while Kali looked like a Victoria’s Secret angel with her giant wings.
Both Kali Uchis and Peso Pluma’s fans who didn’t go to last night’s show expressed regret on social media for missing the moment. With a crying emoji, one person on X wrote, “KALI BROUGHT OUT PESO PLUMA AND I WASNT THEREEE.” Another person added, “kali bringing out peso pluma in LA really made me regret getting tickets to [Sacramento] im so jealous.”
Kali Uchis’ second concert at the Kia Forum takes place tonight. Fans are hoping that she brings out Peso Pluma again. Though that is unlikely, Kali could have other special guests, speculated to be Karol G, Tyler, the Creator, or Mariah the Scientist.
