Anahí was a special guest judge last night (Dec. 13) on the season finale of La Más Draga. The ex-RBD star was honored with a special tribute by drag queens from previous seasons, and she also sang a bit of a Rebelde classic.

After premiering back in Sep., the latest season of La Más Draga came to a close last night. Similar to the format of RuPaul’s Drag Race, 12 drag performers were competing for the title of “La Más Draga of Mexico and Latin America.” For season five, La Más Draga made sure to up the star power of the guest judges. Throughout the season, Latine queens beloved by the LGBTQ+ community, like Mon Laferte, Edith Márquez, Laura León, and Lila Downs, were invited as guests. Grupo Firme’s openly gay member Jhonny Caz, the brother of Eduin Caz, was a special guest last month.

For the grand finale, Anahí was invited as the last special guest of the season. She emerged in a rainbow-colored dress while her 2009 single “Mi Delirio” played in the background. Anahí also had a star sticker on her forehead like her character Mia Colucci in Rebelde. When the host joked that Anahí was invited to put on a concert for La Más Draga, she pretended to head for the exit. “I wasn’t prepared for that,” she said. Anahí then shared a heartfelt message with the crowd.

“You all know that I don’t come out that often,” she said. “But I come out when my heart explodes. And right now, my heart is exploding!”

Toward the end of the night, Anahí was honored with the title “The Most Iconic.” Drag queens from past seasons honored her with a medley performance of her hits with RBD and as a solo artist. Among the performances, C-Pher lip-synced to “Mi Delirio,” Alexis 3XL to “Sálvame” by RBD, Rudy Reyes to “Me Hipnotizas,” and Madison Basrey to “Rumba.” Anahí happily danced and sang along with the drag queens. Alongside them on the stage, she also gave an impromptu performance of “Rebelde” in acapella.

By the end, Fifí Estah was crowned the winner of La Más Draga season five. Anahí returned to music in Oct. with the duet “Déjame Vivir” alongside the late Juan Gabriel.
