Natti Natasha celebrated her birthday early with the release of her music video “To’ Esto Es Tuyo” last night (Dec. 8). The Dominican superstar dropped the genre-bending banger as a gift to her fans.
Natti’s birthday is on Saturday, but to celebrate with her fans a bit earlier, she released her new single, “To’ Esto Es Tuyo.” Sonically, it’s her most adventurous song to date. She seamlessly blends together everything that makes her up as an artist and person. Bachata guitars representing her country’s music open up the track before the reggaeton beats hit. As Natti sings about taking control in the bedroom, the song erupts into an electronica-infused banger. “To’ Esto Es Tuyo” is everything and more that her fans could’ve wanted in new music.
Natti released multiple hits this past year. Back in Feb., she embraced her Dominican roots by going the dembow route in “Wow BB” featuring El Alfa and Chimbala. Ahead of their retirement, Daddy Yankee and Wisin y Yandel teamed up with her for the explosive collaboration “Mayor Que Usted.” Both songs have recently been certified platinum in the U.S.
The singer translates the fun of the track into a fierce music video. She looks like a goddess in a billowing dress while singing on the roof of a car. Natti later wears a colorful outfit amidst a group of faceless dancers, serving even fiercer moves during the song’s electronica drop.
Earlier this week, Natti participated in Teletón Chile 2022. She performed many of her hits live during the charity event in Chile that raised funds to help children with developmental disabilities. “For the children of the whole world, Chile, you are the example to follow. It is an honor and a blessing for me to be here tonight,” she said at the event.
