Natti Natasha is entering her música mexicana era. The Dominican superstar released the music video for her new single “Ya No Te Extraño” today (Dec. 7).

“Ya No Te Extraño” is one of the songs on Natti Natasha’s upcoming album Nasty Singles. The LP includes Natti’s hits released in the past two years, including “WOW BB” with fellow Dominican acts Chimbala and El Alfa and “Mayor Que Usted” featuring Daddy Yankee and Wisin y Yandel. Another song on the album is the sexy “No Pare” remix featuring Tokischa. With “Ya No Te Extraño,” Natti uniquely blends reggaeton with música mexicana influences.

“Since I started, I’ve always fused reggaeton with different sounds,” she tells Remezcla. “I always love to do that because that’s me. Reggaeton is what defines me. I feel like it’s also very important to keep my essence. You shouldn’t limit yourself to one genre when you can do everything.”

“Ya No Te Extraño” mixes reggaeton beats with the brass of banda music. In the fiery kiss-off anthem, Natti sings about how much better her life is without a toxic ex. Directed by Marlon P, the music video shows her embracing música mexicana culture. Natti dresses up in her vaquera outfit as she performs the song on a ranch with a Mexican band.

Natti Natasha’s Nasty Singles will be released tonight at 8 p.m. EST. The album will also include a second cumbia version of “Ya No Te Extraño.” Earlier this week, she released the music video for “Andale,” produced by Mambo Kingz and DJ Luian.

This will mark Natti’s first LP since her fiancé Raphy Pina was sentenced to 41 months in prison last year after being convicted of illegal firearms possession. In May 2021, she gave birth to their daughter Vida Isabelle
