A year after Peso Pluma sang “Ella Baila Sola” alone on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, he invited Eslabon Armado’s lead singer to join him this time around. Last night (May 16), Peso Pluma performed his new single “La Durango” with Pedro Tovar on Fallon’s show.

Last year, Peso Pluma and Eslabon Armado pushed música mexicana into the mainstream with their global hit “Ella Baila Sola.” The song became the first top 10 hit in the genre on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart. Over on Spotify, “Ella Baila Sola” has racked up over a billion streams. It was a bit jarring in April of last year when Peso Pluma made his debut on Jimmy Fallon’s show and performed the song without Eslabon Armado. They eventually performed “Ella Baila Sola” on TV for the first time together during the Latin Grammy Awards last November.

Last night, Peso Pluma returned to The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon for his second appearance. For this next go-round, he brought out Eslabon Armado’s Tovar as a special guest. Peso Pluma sang his latest single, “La Durango,” live for the first time with Tovar. He released the song last week with another feature from Junior H. Peso Pluma and Tovar. It looked like they had a blast onstage together with their fiery performance of the bélico song.

That’s not all coming from Peso Pluma’s radar this week. This morning, he added more dates to his upcoming Éxodo Tour. The tour will kick off with his performance at the Sueños Music Festival in Chicago, IL on May 26. His additional dates include stops in Laredo, TX, Anaheim, CA, Inglewood, CA, San Diego, CA, Edinburg, TX, and Palm Desert, CA. The tour will wrap up on Oct. 18 at the Amerant Bank Arena in Sunrise, FL. Peso Pluma’s next album Éxodo will be released on June 20.
