After releasing the biggest Latine album of the year, Rauw Alejandro visited The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. The Puerto Rican superstar performed a medley of songs last night (Nov. 19) from his new Cosa Nuestra LP.
Last Friday, Rauw Alejandro released his fifth album, Cosa Nuestra. The LP includes “Qué Pasaría…” featuring Bad Bunny, “Committed” featuring Pharrell Williams, and “Khé?” with Romeo Santos. After its first release day, Cosa Nuestra amassed over 34 million streams on Spotify. It broke the record for the biggest debut for a Latine album this year.
As a victory lap, Rauw Alejandro appeared on Jimmy Fallon’s late-night show. He performed a medley of two fan-favorite songs from Cosa Nuestra. While suited up like a salsero from the ’70s, Rauw opened his set with an acapella version of “Qué Pasaría…” sans Bad Bunny. He then brought the Boricua folklore vibes to the stage with his song “Amar De Nuevo.” After he and Rosalía ended their engagement last year, he sang about wanting to learn to love again. The Puerto Rican singer delivered a home-run performance that sold the fantasy of his Cosa Nuestra era.
Rauw Alejandro’s fans raved about his performance online. Over on X, one person wrote with crying emojis, “Rauw singing amar de nuevo on Jimmy Fallon is literally perfection.” Another person wrote, “Rauw is so scrumptious, looking fine af on Fallon.”

Rauw Alejandro’s Cosa Nuestra album also includes a collaboration with rising Mexican stars Latin Mafia. They teamed up for the funky track “2:12 AM.” Italian icon Laura Pausini also jumped on his new version of her classic “Se Fue.” They had been in talks to collaborate on the song ever since he performed it live at last year’s Latin Grammy Awards.
After Sabrina Carpenter was spotted moving to Rauw Alejandro’s performance at the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards, there appears to be a reference to her on his album. His song “Espresso Martini” could be a nod to her hit “Espresso.”
