Jordan Chiles is getting immortalized in a very different and fun way—as a Barbie. The gymnast is being honored against fellow US gymnast Jade Carey with dolls for International Women’s Day as part of Mattel’s initiative commemorating both the holiday and the power of friendship.

The Role Model dolls were created one-of-a-kind for each of the women in the initiative and are not for sale.

“Some of the greatest gifts of girlhood are the friendships that uplift and show us that no matter how big our dreams, together we can achieve anything. ✨ Today we’re spotlighting four duos of new Barbie Role Models, whose real-life friendships prove just that,” Mattel said.

The other duos in the collection include Hannah Waddingham and Juno Temple, who played Rebecca and Keeley in Ted Lasso, Evonne Goolagong Cawley, and Ash Barty, former Australian professional tennis champions, and Paola Antonini and Kelen Ferreira, Brazilian disability advocates.

Chiles told People that she played with Barbies “all the time” when she was younger, and that “Especially on International Women’s Day, it just means so many things. Being African-American and having this opportunity to show the younger generation what it’s like not only to have friendships, [but to embrace] the ability to really put your mind to anything.” Chiles father in African American and her mother is Latina.

Chiles’s doll is dressed in an outfit fans will remember: a colorful pattern design meant to resemble the Beyoncé-inspired ensemble she wore to compete in the 2024 U.S. Gymnastics Championships.

As for how Jordan Chiles is celebrating International Women’s Day, she had an answer for that too, outside of her doll. “I’m a gift giver. I’m a girl’s girl, so anytime that I feel like somebody needs flowers, I’m going to give them. It just makes me feel like I brought light into their day.”
