Senator Ted Cruz and Governor Greg Abbott are continuing to receive backlash for Texas’ near-total abortion ban. This time around, it’s in a truly unique way, thanks to a new street art piece on a wall near downtown San Antonio.

The giant sticker shows Cruz dressed in a white tee and red shorts, standing behind a pregnant Republican Texas Governor Greg Abbott and holding him around his stomach. Cruz is pictured with a Proud Boys tattoo on his arm. Abbott is wearing a red “MAGA” (Make America Great Again) shirt that is pulled up over his bare belly.

Behind the cuddling couple, the unknown artist included a faceless image of Jesus wearing a rainbow patterned wrap and holding a golden semi-automatic rifle. The acronym “W.W.J.D.” (What Would Jesus Do?) is printed behind him.

Last year, a similar artwork was exhibited in San Antonio. It featured Cruz dressed in BDSM attire. This came after Cruz fled Texas during a statewide crisis for the sunny beaches of Cancún.

Last month, a strict abortion ban took effect in Texas, which now makes performing an abortion, even in instances of rape and incest, a felony punishable by up to life in prison. When asked recently what he would say to a victim of rape or incest who becomes pregnant and wants an abortion, Abbott said, “They can get the Plan B pill.”

However, per the Texas Tribune, emergency contraception isn’t widely accessible to low-income Texas residents. Also, there is a lack of programs in the state that provide access to birth control like Plan B.
