On Apr. 14, Becky G made her Coachella performance debut and she slayed. From singing her bops to sharing the stage with special guests like Peso Pluma and Natti Natasha, the Mexican-American singer left her crowd hyped and wanting more.

Becky’s highly-energetic set started off on a high note as she performed her 2017-hit “Mayores.” From there, she sang her songs like “Fulanito,” “Cuando Te Besé,” and “BAILÉ CON MI EX,” all before bringing special guests on stage with her.

The next string of guests gave us a taste of her upcoming regional album. After saying how proud she was to be Mexican-American, she introduced her first guest Marca MP. The two vocalists sang their collaboration “Ya Acabó.” Then, she brought out Fuerza Regida’s frontman Jesús “JOP” Ortiz Paz to sing their joint track, “Te Quiero Besar.” After the duet, Becky asked JOP to sing one of her favorite songs, and he sang “Bebe Dame,” his hit collaboration with Grupo Frontera. Before exiting the stage, he takes the opportunity to ask where “his suegra” is—an ongoing inside joke between them.

The excitement only escalated when she introduced her next surprise guest. For the first time ever, the emerging Mexican singer and rapper Peso Pluma joined Becky to sing their duet “Chanel.” The rising star joined her with the utmost energy, danced his signature moves, and hyped up the crowd. After “Chanel,” Becky asked him to sing another one of her favorite songs, to which he sang “PRC,” his popular track with Natanael Cano.

As the cherry on top, her last, but certainly not least, invitee was none other than Natti Natasha for “Sin Pijama.” The two pop stars danced on stage together, twerked, and, at the end, shared a quick kiss. Moreover, another highlight was when Becky sang “MAMIII.” Though she didn’t sing it live with Karol G this time since she was busy being the musical guest on Saturday Night Live, she still made it memorable by transitioning it into “Killing Me Softly” towards the end of the song.

Becky G will perform at Coachella again on Fri. Apr. 21. Though Karol G wasn’t there this past weekend, will she invite the Colombian star to sing their iconic single “MAMIII” together for weekend 2? We sure hope so!
