Karol G is being honored in a special way at Madame Tussauds. The Colombian superstar unveiled two wax figures at the New York and Las Vegas locations.
Following the release of her album Mañana Será Bonito last year, Karol G has earned her place in pop culture history. The LP became the first all-Spanish release by a woman to debut at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart. Last November, Karol G won Album of the Year at the Latin Grammy Awards for Mañana Será Bonito. In February, she became the first Latina to win the Grammy award for Best Música Urbana Album.
Now two iconic moments in her career are being immortalized by Madame Tussauds.
“My first impression was I love my smile, and the color of my eyes,” Karol G said in a statement about seeing her wax figures. “I hope when my fans meet the figures that it’s a manifestation for them that one day they will meet me.”

At the Madame Tussauds in Times Square, there’s a wax figure of Karol G that’s based off her 2022 Coachella performance. The real Karol G also took a picture with the wax figure that has her signature blue hair color at the time. For that performance, she also wore an outfit that had the colors of the Colombian flag. This wax figure is now available to see at the New York location.
“Karol G is one of our generation’s greatest living Latina performers,” Eliza Rose, marketing manager at Madame Tussauds New York, added. “Her figure is a beautiful addition to our museums, and a testament to her talent, influence, and the love her fans have for her.”

At Madame Tussauds Las Vegas, the wax figure of Karol G is based off her epic “TQG” music video, which featured Shakira. That wax figure features her red hair color at the time with a tiny heart drawn under her eye. This one will be shown to the public towards the end of October.
