Following Christian Nodal and Ángela Aguilar’s hard launch, Cazzu finally spoke out about the situation today (June 12). The Argentinean rapper expressed her feelings about the recent media headlines involving her on Instagram.

This week had been full of conversations surrounding Nodal, Aguilar, and Cazzu, after Aguilar revealed her new relationship with Nodal to Hola! (June 10). The news came after Nodal and Cazzu broke up about two weeks ago. After social media backlash, Nodal defended his new relationship in an Instagram video posted later that same day.

In the aforementioned video, he confirmed his new relationship and said he and his ex-partner Cazzu were on good terms. “Since they hardly like gossip or made-up stories, out of respect for my ex-partner, out of respect for my daughter, and out of respect for my current partner, I wanted to give you some context,” Nodal said. “[Cazzu and I’s] time together ended in the best way possible. It was love that gave us the most beautiful thing we could have made together, which is Inti, my daughter who I will love forever.” He also denied infidelity rumors.

Last night (June 11), Nodal performed in Mexico City. During his performance, he invited Aguilar to share the stage with him. They sang Pepe Aguilar’s “Por Mujeres Como Tú.” During the performance, Nodal told Aguilar that he loved her. Then, the two performed their megahit “Dime Cómo Quieres,” and shared their first public on-stage kiss.

The next day (June 12), the Argentinean rapper expressed her feelings about being in media headlines. She wrote on an Instagram story in Spanish: “Holis. It is very overwhelming to be in the news everywhere for something like this. I always tried to avoid this side of merciless media exposure and today to live it in this great dimension without having done anything to get so much attention and to have my name written all over the place is an immense shame. But I take responsibility for my choices and also for what I have no control over. That is why I give you these words.”

She continued: “I feel the need to let you know that I AM OK, going through it in the best way possible. I choose to step away from social media for a bit to detox and focus on my baby [who is] my priority and my work while everything calms down out there.”

She concludes her statement by saying that life isn’t totally beautiful or horrible, and that people aren’t 100% good or bad. She also thanks her fans for worrying about her.

In a second Instagram post, she wrote: “Now let’s turn the page, let’s live and let live.” She followed it with a photo of her and her baby girl.
