Jenna Ortega is channeling her inner Wednesday no matter where she goes. Her latest moment to shine came during the Saint Laurent Menswear Fall-Winter fashion show at Paris Fashion Week when she pulled all the attention in a stunning black hooded gown.
Dressed by celebrity stylist Enrique Melendez, this YSL look is inspired by the hooded gowns first introduced by YSL in the mid-1980s. Ortega’s styling of the timeless gown, with her wet bangs and thick bangles, gives it a more modern sense of beauty and fits with her Wednesday-esque style.
As expected, the gown has left fans breathless. Social media was alive with people saying that she was serving looks and that she is without a doubt becoming a style icon who knows how to pull off a veil on the red carpet or a sheer-wrapped dress at an awards ceremony.
There was even a video of her arriving at the show where you could see that she matched the gown with a cropped black jacket.
While at the show, Ortega also commented on how she’s always wanted to come to a YSL show. “I’ve been trying to come to one for such a long time because I’ve had friends recommend it to me. So I was very lucky and excited that today was the day.” She also went on to say that she loves that YSL is “classic but yet pushing boundaries” and how she “also naturally gravitates towards masculine clothing” in her personal life.
Every celebrity has a stunning fashion moment early in their career. J.Lo has her green Versace dress and Lady Gaga shocked the world with her meat dress. Jenna Ortega, who also just stunned at the Golden Globes with a champagne-colored dress from Gucci, is making her own moment happen and we are so excited to see her becoming the icon we know she is.
