Fresh off co-chairing the Met Gala, Colman Domingo appeared as a guest judge on RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars. This morning (May 9), the Latine-packed season premiere also featured rap star Ice Spice as a judge.
Season 10 of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars kicked off in a big way with two episodes. The first episode introduced the orange bracket of the first-ever “Tournament of All Stars.” This group of six contestants includes Latina drag queens Aja and Olivia Lux. Both queens come from the ballroom house Miyake-Mugler, so they formed a secret alliance called “Mi-Mu.”
Dominican-American rapper Ice Spice, who is openly bisexual, was the guest judge for the “Winner Winner, Chicken Dinner!” performance challenge. (WARNING: Spoilers Ahead)
Over on the mainstage, Aja brought some rap edge to the glam rock music video. Ice Spice said that she connected with Aja calling herself a “baddie with a fatty.” As a redhead, she was also a fan of Olivia Lux’s massive red wig in the video.

Aja placed in the top two this week with Irene the Alien. Being a New Yorker like Ice Spice, Aja bodied the lip-sync to “Think U the Sh*t (Fart)” and she led the show’s new point system with three points.
Then there’s Colman Domingo.
Domingo was the guest judge for the second episode and the “Murder on the Dancefloor” acting challenge. The Oscar-nominated star looked handsome on the panel in a red-and-grayscale suit.

In Untucked, Domingo said he is a long-time Drag Race fan because he filmed The Big Gay Sketch Show around the same time that RuPaul launched her series. He also did some hilarious warm-up acting exercises with the contestants.
Later, Domingo was living for Bosco and Irene the Alien’s lip-sync to Sophie Ellis-Bextor’s “Murder on the Dancefloor.” Both queens now lead the orange bracket with four points each. Aja is right behind them with three points.
Next week will be the last episode with the orange bracket and the three queens with the most points will move onto the semi-finale. The same criteria will be used to determine the semi-finalists from the pink and purple brackets later this season.
New episodes of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars stream every Friday at 12 a.m. EST on Paramount+.
