‘Drag Race México: Latina Royale’ is Coming — Here’s What We Know

MTV, Paramount+ & World of Wonder
The most iconic Latina queens of the Drag Race franchise will compete in a competition of their own. This morning, the new spin-off Drag Race México: Latina Royale was announced and it’s coming soon.
The first season of Drag Race México premiered in June 2023, which
was hosted by Valentina and Lolita Banana. Following Cristian Peralta’s win, the series was renewed for a second season. Lolita Banana and Taiga Brava took over as co-hosts with Leexa Fox taking the crown. On the heels of the recent hit Drag Race Philippines: Slaysian Royale, World of Wonder revealed that Mexico will host an all-Latina drag spin-off next.
“World of Wonder is proud to continue spotlighting the many cultures which shape global drag, and celebrate Latin artistry with Drag Race Mexico: Latina Royale,” Fenton Bailey and Randy Barbato, the co-founders of WOW, shared in a statement.

Drag Race Mexico: Latina Royale is set to premiere on WOW Presents Plus in 2026. Drag Race Philippines: Slaysian Royale saw past favorites from the Filipina series compete with drag queens of Asian descent from franchises around the world. That means previous contestants from the first two seasons of Drag Race México will compete with fierce Latina queens from other franchises, including RuPaul’s Drag Race.
Last year, World of Wonder revealed that Drag Race México was renewed for a third season. There’s no word if that third season will morph into Drag Race Mexico: Latina Royale or if it will follow the spin-off in 2027. In other Latina drag news, Venezuelan queen Krystal Forever is currently competing on the fifth season of Drag Race España.
