NSQK is making waves in Mexico with his alternative take on reggaeton. Last night (May 13), the rising Mexican artist announced the dates for his 2024 Alter Ego Tour, which will include multiple stops in the U.S.

Amidst the emerging reggaeton mexa scene, NSQK is carving out his own path. NSQK (pronounced like the chocolate milk brand Nesquik) is the musical project of Rodrigo Torres. He was born in Monterrey, Mexico, and grew up in Houston, TX. His music is a reflection of both U.S. and Mexican cultures colliding. NSQK broke out in 2020 with “De Vez Cuando (Aparece),” which blends trap and R&B music. The song has amassed over 18 million streams on Spotify. He has since blended elements of reggaeton into the mix of his electronica tracks like “Lovelanguage” and “Sigo Al Pendiente.”
