A big congrats are in store for Christian Nodal and Cazzu, who just became parents for the first time. On Thursday (Sept. 14), the Latine music power couple revealed the birth of their child with an adorable photo.

In April, Cazzu revealed she was expecting a baby with regional Mexican singer Christian Nodal. During a concert at the Movistar Arena in Buenos Aires, the Argentine trap star dropped her puffy white coat to show her baby bump. Nodal and Cazzu started dating last year. They spent the end of last year in Japan with Rauw Alejandro and Rosalía before their breakup.

To reveal the birth of their child, Cazzu uploaded a photo to her Instagram account. In the picture, she’s holding her child’s hand with Nodal’s hand close by. The photo’s caption features the baby’s birthdate, Sept. 14, 2023. Their baby was born in Cazzu’s home country of Argentina.

Though the couple haven’t revealed the baby’s gender yet, Nodal appeared to let that detail slip in previous interviews. While talking with Lo Sé Todo, he appeared to hint that they had a baby girl on the way.

“More than anything, I want to look clean,” he said. “I like my tattoos a lot. I love tattoos. I’m going to open a tattoo show in Los Angeles very soon too. And I would like my daughter to know me, to know my face.”

The comments for Cazzu and Nodal’s photo with their child are filled with love from their colleagues in the Latine music industry. “Congratulations,” Dominican-American singer Prince Royce wrote with two red heart emojis. “Damn, how happy this makes me! Love you all! Congrats,” added Puerto Rican musician Kany García.

With Mexican Independence Day coming up on Sept. 16, Christian Nodal is releasing the EP México En Mi Voz tonight. He covered classic mariachi songs by Vicente Fernández and Juan Gabriel.
