Here Are the Latine Nominees at the 2025 Grammy Awards

The nominations for the 2025 Grammy Awards were revealed this morning (Nov. 8). Among the Latine superstars nominated are Bad Bunny, Kali Uchis, and Shakira. Also, rtists like Feid and Young Miko became first-time Grammy nominees.
Despite global hits this year that included Xavi’s “La Diabla,” which hit No. 1 on Spotify’s Top 50 Global chart, and FloyyMenor and Cris MJ’s “Gata Only,” Latine artists didn’t appear in many of the major categories. Only Cardi B and Mexican-American producer Edgar Barrera were nominated in the Best Rap Performance and Songwriter of the Year categories, respecively. Most of the Latine artists were relegated to the Latine music categories.
Feid and Young Miko received their first Grammy nominations in the Best Música Urbana Album category. Feid’s Ferxxocalipsis EP and Young Miko’s debut album att. face competition from Bad Bunny’s Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va a Pasar Mañana, J Balvin’s Rayo, and Residente’s Las Letras Ya No Importan. Only four LPs are nominated for Best Música Mexicana Album (Including Tejano). This year’s winner Peso Pluma is nominated again for Éxodo. Other nominees in the category include Chiquis’ Diamantes, Carín León’s Boca Chueca, Vol. 1, and Jessi Uribe’s De Lejitos. Xavi’s Next album was released last month, so it will qualify for the 2026 ceremony.
Shakira is nominated in the Best Latin Pop Album for Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran. Her competition includes Kali Uchis’ Orquídeas, García by Kany García, Anitta’s Funk Generation, and Luis Fonsi’s El Viaje. Among the nominees for Best Latin Rock or Alternative Album are Mon Laferte’s Autopoiética, Nathy Peluso’s Grasa, and LPs by Cimafunk, El David Aguilar, and Rawayana. Marc Anthony, Juan Luis Guerra 4.40, Sheila E., Kiki Valera, and Tony Succar and Mimy Succar are nominated for Best Tropical Latin Album.

Sheila E. is also up for Best Global Music Performance with Gloria Estefan and Mimy Succar. Peruvian musician Ciro Hurtado received a nomination in Best Global Music Album. Beyoncé is the most-nominated artist overall with 11 nominations.
The 2025 Grammys will air on CBS on Sunday, Feb. 2.
